Nature is for everyone. PaddleAccess.org, is on a mission to make kayaking and canoeing more accessible—no matter your age, ability, or experience level. The mission is to help get everyone on the water that wants to take up kayaking or canoeing. The first part of this mission is to create a map of all the accessible and universal kayak launches that are available for use at parks, recreational areas, rental companies, restaurants, resorts, etc.
We believe that everyone deserves the chance to experience the joy of paddling. Whether you're a seasoned kayaker, a beginner, young, elderly, someone with mobility challenges, etc... Finding a safe, accessible paddlesport launch site shouldn't be a barrier.

We are on a mission to create an accurate map of as many known accessible and universal kayak launch locations that are available for use at parks, recreational areas, rental companies, restaurants, resorts, etc.
We believe that everyone deserves the chance to experience the joy of paddling. Whether they are a seasoned kayaker, a beginner, young, elderly, someone with mobility challenges, etc...
Our goal with this map is to breakdown the entering and exiting, barrier of entry for people looking for a safer place to kayak.

Why This Matters

Spending time on the water improves physical and mental health, builds community, and connects us with the natural world. But for too long, outdoor spaces—especially waterways—haven’t been accessible to all.
We're here to change that.
PaddleAccess.org partners with local governments, adaptive sports organizations, and outdoor advocates to ensure everyone has the opportunity to paddle, explore, and thrive.
